The village location allows hiking through the chestnut forest right from the front door. Go in any direction out of town and you are walking through the breathtaking beauty of the Tuscan hills. Along your trek you will stumble across villas and farms of locals, who will offer you a cool glass of wine or some fresh fruit, beekeepers and their honey, vineyards and vegetable fields, and always the smiles of the locals.

There is truly no better place to ride than Italy. This area in particular possesses incredibly well maintained roads full of fast twists and breathtaking hairpins…all through the most beautiful natural scenery in Europe… from our front door. Turn right and you head through the twisty forest roads 45 minutes to the resort beaches of Follonica or Piombino from there go north you hit Pisa and beyond your only limit is your time and energy, head south and all roads truly lead to Rome, this one in about 3 hours!
Local rides include the medieval walled town of Volterra ( 30 minutes of twists through the rolling hills ) not much further the medieval town of San Gimignano with the most remaining towers of any city in Italy…..with Sienna, Florence, Lucca , Pisa all under 2 hours away!
